World Champions in the Gulf Coast

The following is a list of all NWA World Champions (Jr. Heavyweight and Heavyweight) that defended their titles in the Gulf Coast territory. I am also including the Women’s World and Women’s World Tag Team Champions as well. The only “World” title that was defended here regularly that I am not including is the “World” Tag Team title that was strictly recognized by the Gulas-Welch and Gulf Coast promotions. Nor am I including the World Jr. Heavyweight and World Light-Heavyweight titles that were recognized and defended in the region in the early 1950s.
